Please join us for a dharma talk and mindfulness practice with Buddhist professor Michael Melancon, a lay ordained member of the zen master Thich Nhat Hanh's Order of Interbeing. Michael invites all to join: “Let's play together and be happy!” Hitomi Suzuki, translator of the zen master Thich Nhat Hanh's books: "Reconciliation" and "Teaching on Love" will also join us. Let's experience mindfulness together, have a warm and friendly time ♪

 

When: November 4 (Monday holiday) 13: 30-16: 00

 

Where: Osaragi Jiro Memorial Museum/ Japanese-style room

 113 Yamatecho, Naka-ward, Yokohama

 

Program: Talk, Q & A, singing meditation, deep relaxation, tea meditation etc. (The event will be in English with a Japanese interpreter)

 

Entry fee: 2000 yen + donation Please pay on the day. Persons with disabilities may attend with only donation.

<Mr. Michael Melancon Biography>

 

A lay ordained member of Zen Master Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of InterBeing, Rev. Michael Daiun Melancon is a contemplative caregiver with a focus on end of life and palliative care, ordained as a chaplain by Roshi Joan Halifax of Upaya Zen Institute. Michael serves on the boards of several organizations. His sanga is located in Palm Springs, California.
